This was not a wedding. This was something much more awesome than a wedding.
First, a little bit of back story before we jump into this. There were two ceremonies on this epic day, the first was a small private ceremony at Robin’s parents house in MA. Greg and Robin wanted to get married in Massachusetts to show their support of the gay and lesbian community, because MA allows gay marriage.
Oh yeah, Greg and Erik(greg’s best man) are pro tri-athletes… that is important for later.
Alright… lets do this.
greg.
robin.
first dress. <3 j crew.
look what you did greg!
waiting for his bride.
“hey, you are married!” is all I can think of when I see this picture.
you had to be there.
the boss.
love.
laughter.
“greg… i think we are being followed…by a guy wearing waders…”
favorite.
snooping around the house and I found this…. coolest. painting. ever.
<3 J.R.R.T.
almost official.
almost…
ok now its official!
greg and robin.
now that greg is married he wants to go for a swim. why not?
tiger blood.
seriously… look at these two!
jump!
i call it “over done new england coastal art”
my beautiful wife.
brother and sister.
nails done. hair done. everything did.
huge pumpkin.
huge leaf.
did I mention the second half of this day was on a working farm? more on the sheep later.
metering like a boss. for all the photo geeks out there.
walking on water.
matching rings. awesome x 2.
english men.
second dress.
greg waiting.
robin waiting.
oh you know he sees her.
rain only made this day more awesome.
they tried valiantly not to cry… but I mean seriously… never stood a chance.
just in case you didn’t notice, this… this right here is love.
married again!
best friends.
best friends.
yes, these were delicious.
twins.
back to the sheep.
first dance.
kate’s favorite.
you know i ate like 7 sour apple blow pops.
a lonely pair of shoes.
this might be me some day…. whoa…
iphone commercial!
then the party started.
this band is best band.
no seriously.
no seriously.
no seriously.
<3 kids.
timeless.
you had to be there.
this lasted about 3 seconds.
no seriously.
I just have to say that these people have something that is rare. The love that pours from these friends and family… is inexplicable. I didn’t feel like a photographer on this day. I felt like one of the family… a member of the wedding party… a guest. All I can say is thank you to everyone involved for being so awesome. This was special.
This is going to be one hell of a year.
Thanks for looking,
daniel. kate.
